    NUFC request? Not sure, perhaps Liverpool want it to be all about them, which is understandable. Though I would also subscribe to the notion that NUFC/Ashley are well aware of what is going on and asked Liverpool to monitor it. All wholly endemic of our stupid club.

    I think Skrtel's got as many own goals as he has scored for Liverpool. Maybe he will be the only player to ever have scored for all 20 teams in the Premier League in a single season ....

    If the match carries on like this it's going to have two knock-on effects. The first is it will convince MA that Pardew is the man (if he was even considering a change). The second is it will convince Pardew that 5 at the back is the way to go from now on.

    Actually, make that three. Shola will get a new contract and be given the number 10 shirt. Our Cabaye replacement.
