Be interesting next seaon with Flanno. He's done a good job but has also made mistakes, he is very young though! We do need to sign a fullback, if Enrique is back and playing well he should be LB (Good player for us I reckon, gutted when he got injured. He can be like a tank!) I'd have Flanno RB over Johnson atm, but will we sign another?!
I would have him ahead of Johnson too. I still think he should be back up at best. We need new full backs.
I will bet anyone here that A) nobody will work harder than Flanagan B) there are 100 players better than him, left side especially but right backs too. He is an average player with a heart of gold, you can call on him to fill in but you can't build around that. We need better
I 100% believe in Flanno. I rated him the first time around but he got complacent and didn't appear to be learning. what he's done since then is knuckle down, improve and force his way back into a doubtful Brod mind. IMO, that tells us he has a superb attitude and is looking to learn and improve as best he can. Add to that his love for Liverpool Football Club and I think we are on to another Jamie Carragher level winner! So, in short, hell yes it should be Flanno plus one other for the FB positions. I'd prefer there to be four options in all though.
Average is harsh IMO but I agree with the rest. He's not the best when it comes to ability but his determination, heart, desire and passion make him a better player for us than most others would be despite the lesser ability.
Gerrez Yes, I wish BR would've put Flanno RB and Johnson LB as its more Flannos position and GJ has proved he can do a good job at LB What about Enrique then? Good player for us, will he be the same after serious injury?
If Enrique could sort his injury problems, I'd be very happy with him and Flanno. Not many better pairings in the league than that IMO. An on form Enrique is bettered only by Baines IMO. Flanno had the potential to become one of the best but still has a long way to go.
Greatly disagree. Shaw? Azpilicueta? Enrique will get a chance once he is fit, but we need a replacement, as that might never come.
Azpilicueta has been good but he's really a RB, if I count him as a LB than Flanno is better too IMO. Shaw is good but has much to learn. I'd put both the two you mentioned on a level peg with an on form Enrique
Yeah, he's a young lad Heart and spirit can carry you a long way though, he will be an important player for us im sure On a side note why cant players shout when they defend?! It so easy, I cant understand why a pro would find it difficult to do. Just organise! Its not hard
I'm not exactly a talker but I don't stop shouting when playing in defence. I stop stop shouting at the defenders for not talking to me when I play in midfield either though
Yep, primarily organising but praising and encouraging too. What annoys me is when I'm the one shouting time or man on when there are players closer than me. Players that fail to do simple commands such as "go ball" or "take the runner" etc are very frustrating too, especially when playing FB.
Yeah I bollocked my team if they didnt communicate. It really annoys me, it really isnt hard. And done correctly it gets fire in the belly. Just shout, man on, well done, well in, good shot, push out, tackle him ****ing hell! unlucky etc. Get into it I cant understand why a player just cant take this on and do it! It isnt a skill, its simple. And that player will feel a million dollars for being the one who does it as well
