O/T Eurovision

C'mon, don't you all start acting like you're too cool.

We all know it's a laugh. Some of the acts are plain bizarre, the music is mainly dreadful (at best cheesy) and the voting is political.

But, I have to admit, I find it strangely watchable.

Norton sometimes aims a decent quip at a hapless country. Sometimes, they're so bad it isn't even necessary. It's nice to see which countries in Europe actually likes us too, even just a little bit. Not very many, normally.

So, who's the favourite? Will we finally get enough votes not to be in the bottom five? Will ANYONE give Russia any points? We will see.

Oh, there's a 'woman' with a beard on it too. Just saying.

I only watched it because you said an Austrian 'woman' had a beard and I was intrigued.

Guarantee all you with doubts will be loving it, finding it amusing, ridiculous and fun.

I'll hold me trotters up and admit I used to love, well like a great deal, the voting but since when it went all political I had to wash my hands of it.

I remember watching the last one Wogers did the commentary on and his heart was breaking at how utterly absurd it had become. You could hear the distress in his voice

Yeah went to Copenhagen last year in Feb. Had a great time but it won't surprise you to hear it was a) freezing and b) stupidly expensive. The Little Mermaid is ****ing ****e as well.

Agreed about the Little Mermaid, long walk for a tiny bronze bird perched on a rock. Hardly inspiring. Tivoli gardens is fantastic though.
