That's appalling Attivo ...... understandable to a degree if you'd taken them for a few grand, but 10 euro's ew? Disgraceful.
Haydock 150 I really like kris spin and 12s is tempting but Mccoy / Jonjo combination with 8s available looks massive on JOIN THE CLAN . They flew around Exeter a couple of weeks ago finnishing in 2nd , today could well be a better story !
From my blog so excuse any price changes. 1.50 Haydock - SELECTION BIG HANDS HARRY A competitive looking handicap to open the mixed card from Haydock tomorrow and I am going to take a chance on one of the novice hurdlers Big Hands Harry (Best priced 6/1) Nicky Henderson’s 5yo Gelding was a point to point winner over this distance last April and his efforts this season have suggested he will improve for the step back up in distance. Although no match for stable-mate Royal Boy at Ascot on his first start for Henderson, there was certainly a great deal of promise in the run and he built on that performance when scoring at Newbury 70 days later without having to come off the bridle. Although he failed to justify odds on favouritism, when runner up at Bangor on his latest start it was never going to be an easy task conceding 5lbs to the tough Monkey Kingdom. Big Hands Harry makes his handicap debut off a mark of 135 tomorrow and although he runs against some battle hardened handicappers I would like to think he can run a big race. 4.30 Nottingham SELECTION PUTRA ETRON I have looked at this race a few times now and I keep coming back to the current favourite Putra Etron. (Best priced 7/2) Roger Varian’s lightly raced 4 year old was a well backed second favourite on his debut at Yarmouth back in October 2012 , but showed next to nothing finishing last of the 9 runners. However he proved that run to be all wrong when shaping with considerable promise at Newmarket (5th of 12) 4 weeks later. He has clearly had a few problems as he didn’t make it to the track for the whole of 2013, however his reappearance effort at Yarmouth 19 days ago was his best run to date so far, showing he retains plenty of ability. He was a staying on third that day behind Abseil (second off a mark of 91 at Chester on Friday) suggesting the step up to 1m2f should be to his liking. An opening mark of 77 could prove to be very lenient and I think he is one to have on side in what looks an average handicap.
That Irish lad had a bad crash yesterday Dex, Dan Martin was it, suffered a broken collarbone... Tough lads these cyclists, and they have to be at times when they come off their bikes...
Morning All. Today's lucky 15. Lingfield Park,2-20.Queen's Prize. Haydock Park,2-25.Matalleb. Lingfield Park,2-55.Snow Sky. Ascot,3-15.Ribbons. Good luck to all.
Afternoon all. The 3-50 at Ascot is, s always, fiendishly difficult to solve. I've decided to side with Grammercy at 25s purely on the basis that the owner loves these big handicaps and has become rather good at winning them! Good luck everyone
Out of 11 comp entrants, no one had the first winner in the Scoop6. May well have if three were chosen? Or if Bob was in the syndicate!
Selections for Scoop 6 F**ked already. My selection beaten in a photo. Think how much money we saved today.
Gatewood won but no luck at Nottingham either Ron. How many permutations is that example above? 11 selections for the Viccy Cup and mine isn't amongst them!
