Up until a few years ago, tradesmen were being paid silly money for a weeks work. Some guys I know were getting a grand per week. Joiners, Brickies, Plumbers and Sparks, buying three and four hundred thousand pound houses. Then when the building trade went tits-up, the domino effect happened. No more £60k 4x4s, no more big houses and no more lording it over the hard working White-collar worker. How ****ing stupid could these guys be, thinking they'd be on those wages for life?
still good money in it i got 700 quid for 2 days work last week , fair enough we wouldnt be dropping 4/500 quid a night in the pub and on charlie anymore but theres still money to be made
Most workies are alright if they turn up. They do work you can't be arsed or aren't able to do yourself. I like workies. Apart from my brother-in-law, he's a ****.
They get on my nerves in general. Obviously some of them are alright (like sword maybe), but most that I know think they're cool as **** and hard as nails. They always go on about "doing a proper day's work" but are constantly taking breaks and ****ing off home/to the pub early. ****s!
The good old days I was on £2800 some weeks from 2006-2007 doing price-work and bought a near £300k worth of house I then got greedy and though "I can make EVEN MORE working for myself", and then got bumped for £500k+ and I'm ****in skint now MY liquadator is coming in to see me today, which is unusual, they must have found something in the books, (like the £50k i syphoned off ) DAM U RECESSION!!! DAM UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!
I used to work the summer on the building site when I was still at school. Which is part of the reason I choose to work in an office. Labouring on a building site is hard as ****, it's makes the gym look like a doodle.
