I have a plan to stay at Stamford Bridge. Build an indoor arena under the present site. Section the pitch and build a large elevator to carry it outside. All you'd need is a few thousand pumps to keep the Thames out. I guess claustrophobic fans would stop coming, but who needs them anyway. It could double up as a nuclear fallout shelter, for ticket holders only of course.
This does have great appeal, and would mean the stands wouldn't need roofs. Would up the noise level and create a great atmosphere. An alternative is to build a new crossing over the Thames, with the road and rail underslung and a stadium on top. In the event of a disaster, patrons can just jump in the river.
Rubbish. The capacity of Dortmund's yellow wall Southern terrace nearly doubles in capacity to 25k when standing. It's seated capacity is around half that. I really hope Liverpool fans do not stop football fans reclaiming the terraces
How is it uncalled for? You clearly know **** all of our crowd capacities and tigers are known for the markings they have.
Indeed Bod Ossie, have you seen your sticky thread, you know the one done by your mod on your board? The one that contains the 3 strike rule?
Was just about to agree with your point - a rarity - (athough not the nasty way you make it) but the disgusting end of your point stopped any chance of that. If the mods are consistent then you will go the way of CPofL. You just can't help yourself can you?
They're being watched as Cpofl found out, now Oz is extremely dim or looking for a ban. Either way, would be no great loss
Ridiculous that our mods are being dictated to by the scouse mafia. We should be allowed to talk about tragedies if we like. King shergar etc is allowed to on the United board who stand up to scouse wums http://www.not606.com/search.php?searchid=3096371&pp=&page=2
I remember reading a couple of years ago that there is no waiting list for season tickets? That may have changed as I haven't heard any different since. But is it worth building a bigger stadium if you won't fill it? How many season ticket holders are there 20k to 30k? The lack of further action by CFC may partly be down to the fact the numbers won't be there.
I reckon we would fill 60k. People are attracted to shiny and new. And new stadiums attract new fans, new season ticket applicants etc... Best of all would be a single tier Shed with standing for all the loyal fans who followed Chelsea away back in the day. Standing for £30 maybe? Pay on the day, first come first serve. Then we could definitely fill 60k every week
I dont usually reply to you but this post sums you up, totally Take your poison elsewhere if you aren't happy
