It's not cruel - tell you what's cruel = taking a dog on a lead through the woods. I see them all clean and groomed and they look at my dirty disreputable friend with envy.
your a sad person... if there was animal cruelty involved it would be banned, but it isnt banned because it isnt cruel.
if racing was banned what would happen to all the horses in training where would they go??? also the jockeys aren't all irish midgets Ruby Walsh the greatest horseman of his generation 5ft 10
"I work in politics and often work with organisations such as the SSPCA, WWF, CIWF, WSPA etc. (ask around if you don't believe me - I often talk about my work on here.)" As you are so in tune with what all these organsiations have to say why don't you remind us all of the RSPCA's statement made immediately after the grand national? I don't think they referred to racing as cruel. Secondly, i would never talk about my work on here but I can tell you i work with a number of NGOs and some are, ahem, a little economical with the truth. Of course being such a hot shot you'd know that already......
No. It is cruel and the only people keeping it going are toffs, pikies and those sad individuals who piss all of their benefits away in bookies.
doesnt it kill more animals to grow foods for human consumption? vegetarianism is doing more daamage to the animal kingdom than meat eaters
That's probably the stupidest thing I've ever read on here and this is a forum with the likes of ER, BH and Huth!
