well if its any comfort ,theres bugger all out there any more , we used to use the red gurnard as bait in pots because it was classed as rubbish now they are bloody well scoffing it ,crabs and lobsters a plenty but fish in numbers from the beach is very poor ,some bass ,very few cod in the winter nowadays or even whiting are sparse ,but nature will come again it usually does, tight lines and may the sun always shine out of your port hole.
