No denials from NUFC yet. They've been fairly prompt of late to deny false stories. Also interesting is that when questioned about it Christophe Galtier skirted the question but did not deny the rumours.

Wow, really think this could be a goer. At least if we do get rid of Pards, then we have someone lined up. Therefore we don't end up with another post Sir Bobby situation, where he ended up with Souness.

Anyone know his style though? Hoping he is more flexible tactically and a better coach. Could bring on some of our best players and take us higher up the table next season if he has any tactical nous.

Galtier must be the in demand name on the betting markets, just been looking at WHU and he's come in at 16s today. Strangely though Gus Poyet has come down from 33s to 6/4 today. Odd, is he leaving SAFC.

For the West Ham job?? I think the allegation is that six managers will be replaced. Sherwood, Pardew, Allardyce the likely movers. But does that mean that Pulis, Poyet and perhaps Lambert are included, with the first two replacing two of the leavers.

    You wouldn't be surprised.
Going to be Merry Go Round by the looks of it, when it needs new blood.
I wasn't over fussed with Galtier this morning, but, I'm warming to him.

He likes to play an attacking brand of football - Loves his pacey strikers and wingers too. Build it from the back and wham. He was a big admirer of Sissoko. I can envisage Sissoko in a Yaya Toure esque role should this be true.

I've said for many years you don't have to be a player to be a manager. Mourinho is a good example. I'd have Steven Hawkins if he studied the game.

Stephen Hawkins was in our local tonight, the poor bugger's glasses were broken, he had a broken nose, a fat lip and a gashed chin.
He'd been out on a date and she stood him up.

Yeah, I asked him about that. He sounded oddly unemotional?

Alan has spoken of L'equipe's claims in this morning's Journal.

"There's only one or two people who matter here (Ashley, Charnley) and I don't think he (Galtier) has spoken to either of them."

Sounds more nervous than anything, I think he really could be gone before the end of this month.
