Norman Barrie. I'm not sure why we're not using someone local, this mob are from the wrong side of the Pennines.
Ah, Norman. Dunno who he is. It certainly looks a bit Topman on the gaffer. Even their extra large would look skinny fit on anyone over 13st. I got a suit from Slaters once. Lived the dream.
Actually, something I've wondered for a while now. Lamby, how come you don't have some deal or concession or sommat with the club for stuff? I realise this might be a question you don't want to answer on a public forum but if you can, am genuinely curious.
I submitted a kit design once and offered to help with the offer in the club shop, but I never heard back. As for Lambretta, all the footwear, underwear, bags etc are being flogged cheap in Sports Direct now and after launching the brand eighteen years ago, I've decided to jack it in and the clothing will also be in there by the end of the year(it's all £10 tees and £12 polos and I've no interest in being involved). The people that run the licensing company are clueless and after years of aggravation, I've told them to shove it and I'm starting again with something new.
Is'nt Steve Bruce lovely ? I mean look at him, he's just such a bloody great bloke. Them suits off for alteration, can they make them bigger ? They can make them smaller obviously, but how do you make them bigger ?
All these pics have done is remind me how much I hate Stan Ternent. He should not be involved with our club after the comments he made in his autobiography.
Maybe it's the latest fashion, wearing suits that are too small for you ? I certainly wouldn't know. Let me me know though, iv'e got a lovely two tone job i got from 54321, when i was 16.
He basically did a whole chapter slating the club and city and how much he despised the place and his time here. He used the exact quote "the only good thing to come out of Hull was the M62" and others along the lines of (paraphrasing) "when I first arrived I walked around the place and thought 'what have I let myself in for?' It was the worst place I had ever been and I immediately knew I had made a terrible mistake".
