Horse Racing is Cruel

    It is cruel but horses do seem to enjoy racing.

    It's not cruel - tell you what's cruel = taking a dog on a lead through the woods. I see them all clean and groomed and they look at my dirty disreputable friend with envy.

    your a sad person... if there was animal cruelty involved it would be banned, but it isnt banned because it isnt cruel.

    if racing was banned what would happen to all the horses in training where would they go???

    also the jockeys aren't all irish midgets Ruby Walsh the greatest horseman of his generation 5ft 10

    As you are so in tune with what all these organsiations have to say why don't you remind us all of the RSPCA's statement made immediately after the grand national? I don't think they referred to racing as cruel. Secondly, i would never talk about my work on here but I can tell you i work with a number of NGOs and some are, ahem, a little economical with the truth. Of course being such a hot shot you'd know that already......

    No. It is cruel and the only people keeping it going are toffs, pikies and those sad individuals who piss all of their benefits away in bookies.

    doesnt it kill more animals to grow foods for human consumption? vegetarianism is doing more daamage to the animal kingdom than meat eaters

    You can feed a hell of a lot more people per acre with a vegetable crop than with meat.
