Afternoon all! First post on here after my mate Yorkies told me about this forum. GG Alert come up with SLUGSY MORANT 7.40 Bath. Good luck all!
Not surprised Oddy, the yard had a newcomer (3yo) that ran a great race to finish 2nd yesterday and they are probably hoovering up the nice EW prices.
Afternoon all still can not get a grip on this serious form study on where to store notes for every horse without getting confused easily lol. Will think of a plan before Monday. I like the following today Fascinating 6.40 Bath E.W @ 12/1 (BOG) Well held on debut but was too green that day , should know more today. Typically well bred sort for Godolphin and he should appreciate the step up in distance. I am hopeful he can run a place this evening but the only problem is Ajtebi Ocean Myth 8.10 Bath @ 8/1 (BOG) Interesting 2yo race and looking at the pedigree of Ocean Myth makes me feel he is worth a bet at 8/1, should be plenty quick enough and i don't think this is a very strong maiden Storm Belt 7.20 Kempton @ 9/1 (BOG) Having watched this one on debut I feel he is overpriced here at 9/1 considering he showed plenty of early speed and should know more about the game today. Zarooni took this race last year and with William Buick booked I am hopeful he has the improvement in him to go very close here. Kings Legacy 2.55 Worcester @ 7/4 (BOG) NAP I can not see this one losing today, by far the best of them over hurdles and although he hasn't looked a natural over fences Daryl Jacob gave him a nice ride last time out and if he has improved his jumping he will win this on the bridle. Interesting Nicholls keeps sending him to this track for his chases. Will cover all of my bets and a lot more if he wins. Cracboumwiz 4.00 Worcester E.W @ 50/1( BOG) A tricky looking race but Cracboumwiz is a horse with plenty of ability and looks overpriced at 50/1. I don't know much about his new trainer but he was previously with Alan King and although he obvioulsy hasn't been the easiest to train he looks really well handicapped if putting in some of his best form. He runs off 126 here with Clements taking off a very handy 7lbs. Considering this horse beat Qozak before finishing runner up to Burton Port,Time For Rupert and Tanks for that all from a mark of 131 with the biggest winning distance being 6 lengths confirms he is talented. He went chasing but couldn't jump at all so it is best to ignore all of that form. His latest effort over hurdles was far from pleasing but for me is worth another chance having again switched yards, they must think he retains plenty of his old ability to start him off in this competitive handicap. Ithinkbest 8.30 Nass E.W @ 20/1 (BOG) This horse is very interesting this evening, he was useful on the flat with Sir Michael Stoute and if putting his best foot forward he is more than capable of running a big off a mark of 86. He didn't take well to hurdling showing very little but hopefully the first time tongue tie and a return to the flat will keep him interested in the game good luck all
