Yeah, he's come a long way. Paul Bastock is probably my favourite. 43 years old and still playing, having only ever had a brief taster of the Football League, having signed for St Albans three times, and having signed for Boston United twice. Cult hero.

I watched all of that Joe and enjoyed it. Great pass for St Albans second goal. Brings back some fond memories. The pitch looked a little bit bobbly though so maybe Dyke should focus there :)

Good result considering Dante was CB for Chesham

The guy who made the pass, Dave Keenleyside, was in the year below me at school, in my brother's form, and got on the same bus as me. Nice lad. Never knew he was good at football until I found out he'd started playing for City. He's often on the bench, so he must have been delighted with starting and then getting that assist.

Dante might seem like a big fish in most games he plays for Chesham, but he's got nothing on Frendo.

Joe, the other day when you were talking about the St Albans match and someone posted a vid of a John Frendo free kick, I ended up spending about an hour watching clips/ highlights and documentaries on youtube of non League football.

It's a strange world, the world of non-league football.

I have never been to St Albans. Been all around it, Welwyn Garden Vity, Hemel Hempstead, Watford, etc... but never St Albans. Also, although I generally have a very good memory for positioning of places on maps, I always place St Albans somewhere in Norfolk. Around Kings Lynn, which I have been to, incidentally. In fact, I'm probably thinking of Kings Lynn when I think of St Albans. Better not give directions to that place then.

I appear to be engaged to Dan on Fallen London.

You certainly have been all around it. Place it bang in the middle of those other towns you mentioned. Watford to the south, Welwyn to the east, Hemel to the west.

This article is brilliant, but only in the sense that I have saved it and will produce it every time our financial manager goes into analysis overdrive and starts heading down the road that I call "Paralysis by Analysis" It stops us doing anything.

    Thanks Joe.

To be really honest, I'm such a dufus, that I had no idea what that was about, so I googled it. I still have no idea what S&T is about?

Presumed they were connected to GOT and was right. I was very careful not to read any of the plot or you get sucked into the vortex.
