You will probably never read this, but let me try and explain why there is so much animosity directed towards you. You are a very successful business man, no one can dispute that.However you have bought a football club, where the rules of business do not exist.It is not about bottom line profit, and satisfying share holders. It is about people. Players, Staff, Manager but most of all its supporters. We are its blood, its heart its lungs, without us it dies. So what have you done wrong? You have tried to run the club like a business, and no doubt the balance sheet looks great, you have made some terrible decisions Wise, Kinnear etc. You have made good decisions fixed price 10 year season tickets. A football club is about dreams, winning a cup, or at least getting to the later rounds, beating Man City, Chelsea etc, not every time, but not lying down to Sunderland and Spurs. It is about people who have never seen Newcastle play in the flesh, but for some reason have fallen in love with them and get upset when they lose, and wear the Black and White shirt with pride. It is about a father telling his son/daughter about yesteryear until they are old enough to be taken to St. James Park, and they get the passion, and see what its all about. We don't expect you to spend recklessly, and try and compete with Chelsea, Man City. However we do expect to be above Swansea and Southampton etc in the league and not be told we cannot compete with these teams financially.We now have is supporters arguing with each other, disrespecting club legends because opinions are so polarised. What you have created is supporters who are utterly demoralised with what is happening both on and off the pitch, and apathy has taken over. You have given us a manager who is clearly out of his depth.The PR and press office have fallen out with anyone who cares for the club, or who dares to speak up. In short you are a dictator. If it is purely business sell the club, if you have an ounce of respect for this club, its people and supporters fix it, you and only you have the power. I WAS a shareholder, and a season ticket holder but you sorted both of them. As the song says get out of OUR club. Or change your ways.
