We're obviously light up front without Jay, and we can't always rely on own goals or freak occurrences. I'd like to see Rickie getting in the box and more inclined to pull the trigger than he has been for a lot of this season. No point keep looking for the lay off Rick, if there's no finisher to lay it off to. So one from Rickie, one from the edge of the box from Adam, a header at the far post from Jose Fonte, and Guly to nutmeg Vidic and curl one elegantly beyond the reach of De Gea in the dying minutes. At the other end, Vic sitting in front of a first choice back five should ensure a clean sheet.
Pochettino's pre-match interview with Solent has been put online now: https://audioboo.fm/boos/2146699-li...adamsport-about-his-and-player-contract-talks Fair to say he's remaining tight-lipped on his own, and players' contractual situations. You'd have to say that Blackmore is asking the right questions, but not getting much in the way of answers.
Not exactly on subject, but my sister enquired about a St Marys Stadium Tour and was advised that none are being run at the moment due to ongoing construction work until the end of June, not sure what that is though.
Mostly **** questions, not really worthy of anything much in the way of answers. I got "moy tranquillo", that'll do me for now
Blackmore asked exactly the questions that the supporters are feeling. I suppose in an ideal world, we would have liked to have seen him sign the contract this week, so we can look forward with great optimism, rather than with any uncertainty over Pochettino's future or indeed any of the players.
I met her Dad at an aiport about 2/3 years ago... we were flying low cost airline and he didn't know what letter queue to get in, and the lady with him said that he always gets confused.... I said, "tell him to think of a number...." .... I just couldn't help myself.
Sorry, probably a fair cop, but it's a tricky one as it's true - should one pretend not to be doing something out of fear of being perceived as such?
I guess today and a little light training tomorrow and that's maybe it. I expect he's actually contracted until June 1st, and will have the opportunity to stay fit within the club until then, but he won't get out on the pitch again with the lads, so it's probably goodbye time. I'm quite sad about breaking up the League One side, just that little bit further. Barnard will officially be off too, and Forte. Any more..?
CLANGGGG. Nah name dropping is fair game on this forum. Particularly if you can work in a link to the actual conversation.
No it's fine I was just jealous that my spree of name dropping about a month ago (filming on Mission 2: Redemption is now complete btw, @Mission2_Film) went unnoticed.
