Just heard Mr Allam speaking to burnsy but only the end bit of the conversation so did anyone else hear it and why was he on.
Had a text to say Mr Allam was on the burnsy show to talk about him been in talks with the Highways Department about a open top bus route
It was initially about the Allam British Open Squash which starts next week. FA Cup was mentioned and plans underway for a celebration but he didnt give much detail. Asked how much they would make from the Cup AA said not much cash with all the expenses. For once he wasnt saying much as he'd been invited on about the squash tournament.
Cheers for that so its not stopping at Hull city hall then. Will use the listen again on i player to hear the full conversation
Noticeable he keeps referring to how good the success if for the community or the area but not for the city. He is definitely trying to distance himself and the club.
It's definitely an improvement on finishing in the Market Place in Beverley, but it's still wrong, it should finish at the City Hall. The promotion 'event' at the KC was a complete disaster and the KC has the squash open final on the same day.
Is the tour going to be through Hull, East Yorkshire or is it going through the non-existent region of Humberside as the media will no doubt write (and Stewey).
