Apparently the telegraph is saying one of these two is taking over.

Its not online so may be in the paper itself. The fail report fat sam is to be sacked after a supporter protest this weekend.

The nightmare continues if he comes here!

Nicked from another forum so dont blame me if the info is wrong.

I have no problem with Big Sam. Don't want Zola though.

I'd rather keep Harry (that was for you, Marvin:laugh:).

Neither for me. One dimensional stuff from Fat Sam vs a pretty mediocre record from Zola.
If we got promoted, would Fat Sam keep us up? Probably. Would we enjoy it? Probably not.
Zola would take us straight back down I reckon.

If we're in the Championship still then surely the Leicester and Burnley examples have shown that getting a young, hungry, home grown coach/manager is a solid policy.

One would probably do the job but we wont enjoy, similar to this season.
The other would probably give us entertaining but not successful football.

I think only the happy clappies would be excited by either.

If we get promoted then Fat Sam might well be the man to keep us in the Prem for longer than one season, it won't be pretty and we all know what style of football we will play, but if premiership football is what we must have and maintain, his record is excellent.

For those of you lucky enough to go to games week in week out i am not sure how long it would be before the moaning started about what you were having to watch as we struggled toward a 14-17th place finish. But we would survive. He might be exactly what we need though for a few years to gain some Premiership stability but i can already hear the keyboards clicking with disdain for the style of play and it not being the QPR way.

If we stay down i am not sure Sam would be all that much use, Zola on the other hand would bring a style of play i think that would be much more attractive and in the easier league hopefully pleasant to watch and you never know it might even be a little exciting... I doubt we would achieve promotion though but if we are happy in the championship playing a decent style of football which is good to watch then he might not be such a bad choice.

We're not though are we, we need the premiership wonga, so for me Zola is a no, Sam is a big if not slightly depressing 'maybe' if we go up, if we don't neither are right.

I'm not baiting anyone, I don't see anyone getting excited by the choices, do you?

If we have a plan A,B,C and D for players in the summer, I'm pretty sure we have more than an either/or for managers.

With this choice it has to be Zola, Allardyce is a corrupt anti-football dinosaur. But the man to get before he is pinched by someone else is Paul Clement.

    From the same thread.

"My neighbour manages a league one club and told me a few weeks back that Redknapp was going to leave at the end of the season and that Zola was a 'done deal'. At least that is what his agent had told him.

Took it with a massive pinch of salt as I cannot see how anything could be decided that early when we don't even know what league we will be in.

Interestingly the odds on Zola have come in quite a bit since then so the rumour must be doing the rounds"

I did like a post saying it was like choosing between two shades of ****. Zola in the PL would be frightening, yet fat "I should be managing real Madrid" Sam is even worse, it would only be a matter of time before he bought in Carlton Cole.
