only someone gulible enough to believe the utter **** Webber talked would believe a team would scupper one driver over the other.
I'm not. I have no problem with the sound. The v8's did not roar, they screeched. Who wants to listen to that and end up deaf? I love music too much to bother with something screeching in my ear. Forget the sound watch the racing.
Regarding Jenson Button set up issues - none of us is in a position to judge his feedback performance as we are not privy to those meetings with his engineers. I use the plural "engineers" because he will probably have about 5 dedicated to various parts of his car. The problem I have with JB is the way he comes across in his post problem interviews. He seems to think it is all a bit of a laugh anyway so why bother getting upset about under performance. I am not convinced he gives 100% . Nothing wrong with getting angry and kicking a garage door or two, they've all done it.
Migs you are totally missing the point..I am not saying that they are favoring one driver over the other, what I am saying is they need to be on the same page when they go public. Also they can't really expect us to believe they will bring a new chassis with the exact same specs without any additional performance gaining adjustments. Wouldn't that be stupid? Well that is what Red Bull seems to be at pains in pointing out. The evidence is right there so what I am saying is not something I made up.
It will be interesting to hear the new louder sound, but i wonder why Mercedes decided to test it during Friday practice. Wouldnt that take away some valuable setup time especially since they might not race it on Sunday? Or maybe they are thinking that they may steal a march on the others if they get it working smoothly on their car. They must be very confident that the other teams wouldn't get that close to them. I would have thought they would experimented with it during some other test.
Mercedes have said there will be no noise "add on" with their car tomorrow. https://twitter.com/MercedesAMGF1/status/464433403782512640
Poll closed? I was going to vote for Rosberg again, so I don't suppose it would make any difference...
That is because they said that the test would take place after the race weekend. Common knowledge. Like SV has not got a broken chassis. SV will not get a new chassis. Red Bull have a third chassis available since Australia. DR is outperforming SV. People are clutching at straws trying to explain why SV is strugling. Common knowledge.
The story came from Bild themselves so you have to take what they say sometimes witch a pinch of salt etc: http://www.f1today.net/en/news/mercedes-to-try-out-megaphone-exhaust-in-spain
Alonso with now standard 'we're crap' pre-race statement............. http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/113827 Is almost as predictable as Button saying he's not getting heat into his tyres.
Im expecting big improvements from Ferrari and Red Bull. The media is saying that Ferrari's big update won't be tested in practice and will be delayed until the post-race test. However, the pictures yesterday show that Ferrari have a new RW, RW support, bigger exhaust, front brake ducts and monkey seat.
