Love Terminator but not really something you can watch over and over. One of the rare occasions where the second films was better than the first.
New terminator films are rubbish, Luv. So was the Total Recall remake. I loved most 80-90s films. Definitely my favourite film years: Rambo, Predator, Terminator, Rocky (any!), Back to the Future films, John Hughes films, etc, etc, etc.
Just watched Robocop; Its better than I expected after seeing so many bad reviews but could have been much better 6/10
Was better than I expected too. Have to agree with your assessment. Was far superior to the Total Recall remake which was shocking: so forgettable! Can't even remember the plot, even though it was still based on the same source as the original movie.
So, I finished Breaking Bad over the weekend. Took some getting into at first but becomes quality IMO with series three and five being the best. Glad I stuck with it; 9/10 Why am I saying this four days later? Because I was unsure whether to go with Jericho, Walking Dead or Game of Thrones next. I've opted for Walking Dead and just watched the first two episodes. I can see it being the same as Breaking Bad; will take me a while to get into it before I get hooked and it runs out of episodes
I'm not sure I'd like GoT TBH. I don't really like zombie stuff but for some reason gave WD a whirl Already watch five episodes too
After series 2 it moved to Sky then seemed to go on for about another what seemed like 7 series which got gradually worse. They should have ended it after 2 or 3 series really
Yeah, thats what others have said to me. The common theme seems to suggest watching series 1, 2 & 3 before making up your own ending
Walking Dead and Game of Thrones are both superb. I'm still watching both. Dexter is brilliant, too, if you haven't seen that yet. Watched the first series of Black Sails and that isn't bad, too, tbh. Lost is very good but finishes a bit weakly. Well worth watching, though. I'm thinking of starting watching Boardwalk Empire, Sons of Anarchy and The Arrow (?). Anyone shed some light / opinions on any of those?
Worst remake film ever was the remake of Get Carter, the best British gangster film closely followed by Love, Honour & Obey. The Get Carter remake was set in New York and had Stallone playing the Michael Caine role. Someone bought it for me on DVD as they knew I liked the original, turned it off after 20 mins and stuck it in a cupboard.
