What pub would you guys recommend for watching the game on Friday? Live in Brixton, but would like to watch the game amongst Rangers supporters!
Good question - I am in tooting - a couple of us were thinking of going to the Junction (formerly the Windsor Castle) pub next to Clapham Junction station which has recently been refurbed but has a big screen and some normal size flat screen TV's. Maybe we could have a meet up for those south of the river that want to be with fellow sufferers? If so I will double check with the pub to make sure that they are showing the match and the screen will be down? Thoughts?
What is that pub in Acton (near West Acton Station?) that plays nearly every QPR game? I've been once before but I've forgotten it's name and exactly how to get there.
Although I said I was South London, I didn't mean to suggest I wasn't willing to get on a tube. Was thinking somewhere nearer to Loftus Road.
I'm going to head over West too - not decided where yet. I'd imagine the usual suspects will be busy - so might head away from the bush
Gotta be The Crown and Sceptre for QPR games. Can't beat it. It's right between Uxbridge Road and Goldhawk Road.
Anyone know how busy the c&s is likely to be tomorrow? Need to watch the game but will be arriving after work, anyone know of any other pubs in the area showing it as well?
Meeting-up with fellow fans on this board is frowned upon by certain quarters. Doing so apparently stops us being nasty towards each other. Which is to some degree true I guess. It's only the posters that hide behind an avatar and no one has ever met that still retain this capacity. So in upholding the Mods duty to exercise equality across the board I've refrained from socialising in pubs before and after games.
I'm meeting a friend at the Green in Shepherd's Bush. Is that a decent place to watch or do you have better suggestions? Cheers.
Now looks like I'm going to be in central London. Does anyone know of a pub that will show the game and have the commentary, on a Friday night???
