I know its a dangerous game buying from a team who have been relegated but is there anyone that would be worth a buy at potentially cut price? Fulham: Sidwell - Has played well in an awful team, scoring goals and full of running. Scored 7 Goals from midfield which is very important for a premier league team. Would be a useful addition especially with Europa league. Dejagah - Again scores goals from midfield and looks lively when coming on, again would help squad depth. Cardiff: Jordan Mutch - Some annoying qualities but scores goals, good runner, good pace. Caulker - Defence is not a weak area but still a pretty solid player. Norwich - or not. Any others who have shown some potential to stay in the league and boost Hull's squad.
I think most on here know I've got a big thing for Sidwell. I feel he'd fit perfectly alongside Thudd in a CM 2 or similarly with Thudd and Livermore in a 3 man CM. Free as well, he'd be fantastic, especially if any potential Livermore deal doesn't materialise.
I'd get Michael Turner back. Wouldn't cost too much, Davies and Chester ahead of him but with Europe we'll need another quality centre half. I've always rated Snodgrass too.
He always struck me as a total knobhead. Then again, Snodgrass does too, and I'd have nothing against us signing him.
Bruce saying he wants to fill squad depth with good youngsters who don't have to be counted in the 24-man squad: Nathan Redmond - 20 years old and 'home grown'.
Fulham fan's can't wait to get rid, according to them, he's been crap all season,ok going forward, rubbish at defending.
Not from a relegated Prem side, but Paddy McCourt would be a good squad addition on a free, with European experience with Celtic. This is him back in December against a Brighton side we struggled to break down in the cup:
Greegsy Rosie Davies Chester Richardson Elmo Huddz Meyler Brady Jelavic Long I think if our side looked something like this at the start of next season I'd be delighted, I wouldn't want to be dropping Meyler and if I'm honest I don't see us signing Livermore. I really don't think we need an awful lot, a fully fit and in form Brady would be nice.
Thing is, we'll need a cup side, and a Europa side too. Chester and Brady seem a little injury prone, so you'd want cover at least as good as either of them, ideally better, then you'd have people fighting for each spot. In fact, we need a proper squad with people who are just making up the numbers for whatever reason.
