    Gomez has played about 9 games for Fiorentina since he moved there in the summer, no surprise there.

    Schweinsteiger missing out is massive.

    Indeed, I'm seeing a lot of lists online now with Schweinsteiger included. Perhaps the original published squad was a mistake?

    Yeah it's been a real shame. He was an exceptional signing for Fiorentina as he's just hitting his peak (strangely, most think he's older than he is) and I'm sure, if fit, he'd have gone to Brazil. Always worth a sticking him on when you're chasing a goal and a big loss to Germany methinks.
