The league doesn,t lie, we were sh:;e against anyone on our level and deserved to be bottom, there were always signs that there was better underneath, now it,s rebuild, maybe convert some of the loan players into permanents and sign another striker

 

In hindsight. Less of Altidore and more of Wickham.

 

Definitely less of Jozy, wish he could have made it but last night showed why he'll never be a regular scorer, lots of huff and puff, put himself about, drag defenders around etc but Altidore? should be Barn door that he can't hit

 

he is not up to it ,sell as soon as possible and find a striker.

 

He did well everywhere but in the box last night - Jozy the Jigsaw?

I think he'll find a club in the summer - Gus will probably not have him in his plans I doubt. Wickham is starting to look like a footballer now. I'd like to sign Borini on a permanent - I reckon 5 or 6m would do it but it's whether he will sign for us - he will struggle to get into the Liverpool side and I think they will invest in the summer too.

I hope Altidore has a storming world cup and adds a couple of million to his price tag.

 

Borini would be a decent signing, I am not sure its going to happen though. In fact after the season we have had I think attracting anyone is going to be difficult. I expect Gus to dig up some gems from abroad.
