    If Pardew had been manager of Sunderland do you think he could have pulled it off ?

    Even with Pardew, Newcastle have finished above Sunderland this season. And, even if Pardew is here next season, my prediction is Newcastle will finish above Sunderland. Not even Gus can polish a turd.

    This comment proves just how deluded the Newcastle supporters are going into the next season, they have gained three points out of a possible fifteen ( After the weekend three out of a possible eighteen ) and still they do not realise they have been well and truly PARDEWED ( I wonder how much longer we will be able to use the word Pardew without changing the spelling ) I believe it is now time for Sunderland supporters to take over this thread as they and not Newcastle are now the only ones to have a genuine GLOW , but no hurry it is best enjoyed cold

    Mine hasn't paid either Albert. I assume its either the points deduction or the season has to end? I can't see what can happen now. The teams moaning about the points deduction are wasting their time. All clubs signed up to PL rules which basically means they can operate outside of the normal FA rules for exactly the kind of situation Sunderland escaped punishment for.

    To be fair I'm not sure many were rushing to place the bets! That said there will some shrewdy who probably whacked a **** load on just because he could. Its always stacked in their favour.
