Damn this means we have to score 14 and hope City draw. I don't want to appear to be the party pooper, but we may end up 2nd this year.

Since many of our fans, myself included, would genuinely like to see the BS do well (as long as it's not at our expense), it's a bit sad to see theirs gloating over us probably missing out to City.
    Oh well.....

I can see it happening. We've been a very good attacking team this year. 14 should be seen as achievable.

Would you like them to do better than you?

    No...

... but if it were them or someone other than us in a two horse race... I'd be hoping Everton won.

The CL money would have saved their club

Well you seem happy enough to see your fellow Mancs triumph.

The money might have saved their club and helped them sign Lukaku, but that's irrelevant now. They have Kone coming back from injury and 53 year old Gareth Barry will be signing a 5 year 120k-a-week contract with them <laugh> <ok>

Martinez second relegation in 3 seasons <whistle> ?

115 other clubs in the English football league and we're better than 114 of them <cheers>

I asked because I dont see how you think everton should return the favour and be supportive of your lot when you are doing better than them.

Surely by expecting them to be happy for Liverpool you are suggesting you would be happy if reversed.

I suppose I am happy city have won tonight and the title looks likely now. Means you guys dont win it and city overtake someone like Huddersfield in the all time records.

Wouldn't bother me if they were quietly satisfied, I suppose. It's the childish gloating that sticks.
I'd feel about them the way you've just described your feelings towards City.

Looks to me like they ran city close. Probably better if you look to your own clubs failing in recent weeks.

  18. Well said <applause>

If we were unable to catch them, yes I would want to see them do as well as possible! If we can't then I'd rather Everton won the league before anyone else.

People not local to the team they support are more likely to have a differing opinion than those that do, most of us have family and friends from over the park and don't "hate" our neighbouring club.

If the roles were reversed I'd have backed the blues ahead of any club other than my own tbh, but to each their own because that's their choice.<ok>

  20. Although I'd agree with the first bit, it appears we also agree on the second part <laugh>
