Maybe the thread should be renamed Man City watch since their billions is the only thing that can compete with us in the foreseeable future <ok>

(Chelsea also have billions but they have Moaninho to waste the talent)

This is a real David vs Goliath match today...

Although, just like David slew Goliath... [and so did someone else earlier in the bible, but people always overlook that- because it is less impressive that David slew someone who was already dead] the little man sometimes beats the big guy...

... so I guess City have a small chance of pulling off a David move and defeating the Goliath of the midlands.

Somehow City are just about holding on- the massive giants of Villa Park have not yet managed to get their first of 5 goals tonight.

Yep, the 0% possession in the attacking 3rd after 25 minutes is mightily impressive from the Brummie giants

It's early days yet. Shows how comfortable Villa are- they're willing to let City have all the possession knowing they just need one goal late on to win it. If we're honest... and let's be honest... Villa are just toying with City. They're under no threat here!

The way City are performing in front of goal this has a 1-0 Villa win all over it.

I know but i have seen it with United many times over the years (and am willing to bet you have seen it with Pool), sometimes you could play for hours and never score even when you are all over the other team.
