That does leave us quite thin, but that is a retained list. 12 Players have left in total, so what is left is more likely to feature. There is unquestionably room to bring new players in and the freeing up of what must have been quite a significant wage spend will allow for this.

It will be interesting to see what new players are attracted. For me, its pretty obvious. GK, maybe-Fielding is adequate but if injured we are left very limited. A centre back is a priority. Creative midfielder, such as Elliott, and a striker-

Havent we had this sort of conversation before?

    Fielding
    Osborne Flint Williams
    Wagstaff Kelly Reid Pack Cunningham
    JET
    Baldock

From the squad we have left, that is our best starting 11 IMO which to be fair, is pretty good, we'll need 3/4 first team transfers and maybe 2/3 youngsters who can push though like Williams. Will be a great summer (Hopefully)

    No surprises there.
Am I correct that Burns, Bryan and Reid are not out of contract this summer, but have been offered new deals to replace existing contracts.

If the previous sentence is factually correct, we now have the following senior players under contract for next season.
    Fielding, Richards, Parrish
Moloney, Flint, Osborne, El Abd, Williams, Cunningham
Wagstaff, Kelly, Reid, Bryan, Burns, Pack, Wynter
    JET, Baldock

Effectively 17 players as Parrish has obviously been tod to find another club.

Plus the first year pros recently signed. I don't know their names except Jack Batten. Would someone please post these names.

So how many senior squad do we need? I assume about 18 to 20. Plus six first year pros.
    Positions?

A few decent (not necessarily expensive) signings, plus retaining what we have should see us press on.

    Surprised we've released Krans.

Does Parrish being transfer listed mean we will go for Moore?

A few key players have been released in the Championship. Apparently Emmanuel Frimpong, one of JET's mates from his Arsenal days, has been released from Barnsley. I reckon he'd be worth a punt in this division, and like JET could probably fulfill some of his promise with us.

If Jack Batten is worth the hype then he needs to be a starter next season. The best thing we can do is put the kids in from the start, so we can at least be sure that they're worth keeping at the club.

I think we will enquire but that will be it, in fact, I would be surprised if we haven't already asked Cardiff about the availability of Moore. I don't think we have a chance though, he will be at the very least, cardiffs back up keeper next season, could very well be their number 1. I think Crawley was the last time we will see Simon Moore in city colours. Shame really as he would of been a good addition.
