I don't think Utd can get all high and mighty. Look at the way Fellaini get's away with all the flying elbows.

Also, if last nights attendance was higher than the average, doesn't that just prove that they don't sell out every game?

    Epic fail <doh>

It was a definite snide stamp, that could have smashed the lads ankle, there's no defending it, and shame on you lot for trying to.

It had as much chance of smashing his ankle as it dd of breaking his neck considering it was halfway up his shin pad.

    Epic fail there.

You lot were crying like bitches when Pardew wafted his quiff past Meylers eyebrows and yet you're now defending him for a deliberate stamp on an opponent?

    lol. See you on Sunday

Phew, I thought you were going to post a load of half arsed sweeping generalisations then. Thank **** you stuck to just a few.

While you're here, I'm guessing you're Everton? Why do you lot have such high pitched voices?

is there a better video than that weirdly edited vine one? i can't tell from that whether he was changing direction, whether the player's leg was there before he landed, etc.

No it doesn't - if a season card holder does not turn up then they are not counted on the attendance - if every ticket is sold for a match that means it is sold out - just because they don't all attend it doesn't make it not a sell out. Also the away fans following affects the attendance

Also re the challenge - I wonder what the Hull fans would be saying if an identcal challenge happened to one of their players by Cattermole? Most Sunderland fans would say "Yeah it's a red" - a few Hull fans have on here but not many.

Considering your previous comments the values & principles you display regarding Roy Keane appear misplaced.

Is this the same cowardly Roy Keane who did this. I'd guess you believe Haland deserved it.

Roy's the biggest cowardly **** there is & you're the dumbest **** to have strayed on here for a while which is some achievement, congratulations. Prick.

Funny you should say that actually. I guess every club will do it their own way and Man U being one of the biggish clubs in the country will have a sophisticated way of doing it, but at the KC we have a fancy dan ticket scanning turnstile system but our attendances have to be recorded by sales, as I know for a fact that at times when we've officially had a full house we actually haven't. I know this because there have been so called 'full house' attendances when some of our group (season ticket holders) haven't been there, accompanied by the other odd empty seat or two dotted about the place.

Re. your point about Clattermole, of course it would be a bloody red. Did that really need asking?

You've said ''Adios'' in another post and hopefully you won't return but just in case you do i've a questions for you.

Do you always refer to people as ''kid'' even though you've never met them or know how old they are?

I've noticed you using it on here and the Sunderland board thread about Meyler, especially related to OLM. Do you know how old OLM is? It's a very patronising phrase, do you always look down on others?

I had also been thinking of pointing out the irony of someone calling Meyler cowardly and then saying what Keane would have done to him! Roy Keane, the master of the cheap shot.

Arsenal do it based on sales - have seen Arsenal with hundreds or thousands of empty seats in a 60000 stadium and the attendance comes up as 60000 - Sunderland do it the way it, in my opinion, should be done and count each ticket scanned at the turnstile (we have the same fancy dan scanners). I believe Man Utd's attendance shows the exact number through the turnstiles rather than the number of tickets sold. I know for certain that Sunderlands does as my mate works in the ticket office and said there were over 46000 home tickets sold for the Cardiff game and the SAFC attendance (on our site) was 45894 (I think) - BBC showed it as 42 thousand odd. Our last sell out was a 47 thousand and something - our stadium holds just over 49000

Nah. It's like Elmo and his diving. I'll support them in what they do 99% of the time, but not when it's clear that they're in the wrong AND making us look ****s by you lot defending it.

    <laugh> That thread's hilarious.

Deluded nuggets trying to convince each other that the moon's really made of cheese.

A few of them ****ed off the boards when they lost a few, some of them making a drama of it hoping people would beg them to stay, now they're back full of more ****e than before. <laugh>

There were a lot of empty seats last night, a hell of a lot in fact.

There were at least twenty/thirty empty seats to the left of me last night, so we obviously didn't sell out the away end either. Possibly because we were playing our reserves, it was a meaningless game, we had a game three days before it and(as you know) we've another four days after it, along with two trips to Wembley to fund.

Not everybody is as fortunate as me and many simply can't afford to attend so many games.
