Just rang the ticket office to ask about tickets near me & my Dad (North stand Row 11 Seats 108/109) and the girl that answered the phone said the one behind was available - I have already taken up my "2 for £10 each" prices for my brother, my son and my brothers 2 boys but the girl (Vanessa) who answered the phone said "We can't leave your mam out, I'll do you that one for a tenner as well"... Fab! The whole family will be there tonight in among the 45000+ Can;t wait - I am actually shaking already
If you are praising an employee wouldn`t it be a good idea to tell the club? In my experience there are plenty who complain but very few who compliment. I`m sure it would be appreciated.
Already have grandpops - I always give credit where it's due and emailed the Customer service people immediately after I got off the phone!
****ing brilliant Marcus, now the lass will get sacked for giving away a tenner ticket that wasn't actually merited ...... enjoy the game
I didn;t mention the tenner as I thought that too Smug - I simply said I would like to congratulate Vanessa in the ticket office for her excellent customer service skills on securing me a seat for the West brom game
Top man You never know when the 'health & safety-correct working practices-refer to the training manual' police are watching
I also have just got off the phone to the ticket office.. I was after 4 x tickets in close proximity for Sundays game. The girl said "you'll be lucky" as it's pretty much sold out and most seating left is sporadic singles. She asked me to ring back in 15 mins and she would try to sort it out by 'juggling' people. Bless her... She's sorted 4 tickets in a row SE Corner. Seems like everyone is joining in the 'euphoria' !! Can't wait to take my nephews on Sunday.. But.. Am glad I'm on my own tonight!!!!!! Anyone else 'buzzin' !?!?
My only issue with the ticket office has been with the management of it - I complained about spending 50 minutes on a phone call to the "call centre" for them to say "I'll put you through to the ticket office who may have different seats" and then put me through to corporate hospitality where I couldn't get a ticket - £15 on a phone call for nothing and their response was that it was "my choice to stay on hold" - no apology or anything. This time the ticket office have done me proud and looks like they've done the same for you - all good in my book As for the last question - I'm sat in my seat at work physically shaking with excitement and nerves for tonight.
Agree totally marra... I have also in the past been 'passed from pillar to post' for no reward. The website used to let you view the seating plan and pick and choose your tickets. When I tried doing it online (3 times) this morning, I was offered seats all over the place in singles. Hence, the phone all @ 10p a minute to the ticket office. A good result.... Let's hope it's not the only good result today!!!!!!!
I know what you mean.... I'm contemplating walking the dog down the South Park to 'ease the nerves' ! My missus wasn't too impressed this morning when I likened the nervous 'feeling' to that of 'morning sickness'!?!
You need to view stadium plan, picking the seats individually rather than the quick seat option. Wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't working for you. Every time I try to buy a ticket on line, when I checkout I get an invisible item in my basket it and the transaction won't go through. They say they can't fix it. Doing my head right in.
