Of our loan players, only Vergini and Celustka came with an option to buy. Ki Sung-Yueng, Borini and Alonso will return to their clubs. I'm pretty sure that Vergini will be the first bit of business we do, dependent upon survival. Fiorentina seem pretty keen on Diakite, so we may be able to get Alonso on a swap (plus money). I think we'll pass on Celustka & maybe Ki. Does anyone see any chance of us getting Borini or disagree with my assessment? (I know, I know, we should concentrate on survival first, but I need something to take my mind off the game!)
I thought we had an option to buy on Alonso but if not getting him on the books would be good, better still with Diakite as part of the deal. I`d like Borini but I think might be hard to get. He seems to like it here but much will depend on what he`s told on his return to Liverpool (and price of course). Ki is injured anyway and seems get homesick a lot. Did well to start with. Undecided. Get Vergini and Celutska signed. A lot more to come from both of them imo.
I'd definitely sign Vergini and Alonso, they offer us good balance at full-back. Not sure what happened to Ki because he was fantastic in the Cup run, but went completely off the boil since, as evidenced by our upturn in form since he's been out. Sadly since Liverpool will be in the Champions League next season I can't see them loaning Borini out again, they'll need him for cover.
I would like to see us try for Vergini, Alonso, Celuska and Borini, If we stay up. I would also like us to keep Colback and even Larsen if possible but I suspect they are both demanding too much and will move on.
Borini is on a long contract at Liverpool, I think he maybe available for a loan again. We need to be careful with long term domestic loans, we only have two so need to make them count.
We may have a chance with Borini as he'd definitely be a bit part player at LFC behind Suarez & Sturridge. Ki seems to have a bad injury so undecided there, unless it's clear he can get over it. Alonso is a definite for me and I'd keep Celustka anarl. Larsson? Who knows, after he was poop for so long...
Liveepool are in the champions league now. Having a third striker is a must. There squad is paper thin without europe nevermind being in the CL

These 5 have been in the squad for the year or most of it and have became integrated with the club and what we are trying to do, therefore these 5 automatically have an advantage over anyone we try and sign However obviously it comes down to transfers Alonso id sign for Diakhite in a swap deal, possibly £1-2m exchanging hands Ki id sign if the price was right, hes out of contract next summer so £3-5m tops Celutska was brilliant at the start of the season and eventually tailed off due to a lack of appearances, for £2.5m i think he is a steal due to his versatility Vergini has shown us all what he can do in the last few games, think people were hard on him to start with but glad he has shown what he can do, id have him Borini i would love to sign, not only does he score goals for fun against the mags but hes a brilliant player and plays his socks off, however due to the fee that would be wanted i think a loan is more likely if anything in terms of returning to us
Colback - yes Alonso, Vergini, Celutska - all yes Borini - I don't think we'll get the option. I'm hoping Scocco can fill his shoes next year. Ki - hmmm. don't know the extent of his injury and if that caused his downturn in performances. Larsson, Bardo, Gardner - not too bothered. I'd hope we can do better, for less money.
