Its possible, but i beleive Chelsea will be shopping in the absolute top market for strikers! Bony has flaws in his game and Jose knows that besides, they have a very similar player already there in Lukaku ,though Bony has proved to be a better all round player for me and also has become a leader of men on the field, very impressive to do that so early on IMO.

Borussia Dortmund are looking into the possibility of signing Swansea striker Wilfried Bony in the summer.

The Ivory Coast international has been a key player for the Swans this season and his 16 league goals have been instrumental in keeping the club in the Premier League.

The 25-year-old is starting to attract interest from a number of clubs following his £12million move from Vitesse Arnhem last summer.

According to the Mirror, Dortmund are still in the market for a new striker at the end of the campaign.

The German side have already signed Adrian Ramos from Hertha Berlin but want to add strength in depth to their squad as they are set to lose Robert Lewandowski.

Jurgen Klopp has been following his progress after Bony admitted last week that he has dreams of playing for a ‘bigger club.’

Here we go from teams interested in Bony, I hope there will be others and they start a bidding war because if he is to go then lets sell him to the highest bidder..

Chelsea must follow Dortmund’s lead in pursuit of Swansea star
Wilfried Bony should be lined up by some of the striker-seeking top six

In his first season in England, Swansea’s Spanish bargain, Michu, took all the plaudits as he accustomed himself to life as a Premier League striker with ease.

The former Rayo Vallecano man scored 18 times in his debut season at the Liberty Stadium, earning rave reviews from all corners and even links with a switch to Arsenal that summer.

Not content to rest on their bargain-hunting laurels, the Welsh club bought in Ivorian Wilfried Bony for the 2013/14 campaign and have enjoyed similar, if less roundly applauded, success.

Bony’s 15 goals in 26 Premier League starts represents an impressive first season for the Swans yet the former Vitesse hitman has none of the top-flight’s big sides chasing his signature.

That’s not to say powerhouse outfits across the continent aren’t interested in signing the 25-year-old, as Borussia Dortmund supposedly have the Bingerville-native’s name on their list of potential replacements for Robert Lewandowski.

Considering half of the current top-six in England are in need of a new striker, Bony should take it as an insult that his name hasn’t cropped up in more transfer rumours involving the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Everton until now.

dont think he would consider everton anyway. Clubs in the champions league will be the only clubs he will be looking at for next season. He will jump at the chance for one of those and who can blame him..<ok>

Don't know Dai, Bony doesn't strike me as the sitting on the bench type. Whichever club he goes to, it would have to be with him as the main striker.
Can't see him being a Scott Sinclair and warming his arse on the bench just for the money.

Marvin Emnes celebrates a Swansea goal with Wilfried Bony
Marvin Emnes is clearly enjoying his time away from Boro.

The forward joined Swansea on loan in the January transfer window - his second spell in South Wales.

He will return to the North-east next week following the Swans’ final Premier League fixture.

Emnes said: “The fans have always been fantastic with me, and I want to give them something back.

“I enjoyed my time here three years ago and it is the same this time round. I haven’t played with a smile on my face for a long time and it feels good.”

I would like to sign emms on a permanent as he has something to offer and he likes the way we play. That's half the battle when a player is happy and wants to play...

I have a good feeling about Bony staying, based purely on the fact that Huw will want to move heaven and earth to get Monk up and running early, he cannot afford to have his new baby nose diving into a flop, not at this level, Huw will want to show he's a top Premier League Chairman!................<cheers>

Dai I have always liked Emnes, and while some on here turned their nose up at the thought of him coming because he was a Championship player, that didn't bother me one bit, he's has always been a lost talent at Middlesbrough, and I hope that one of the very first things Huw does for Monk is sign him on a permanent deal, I love the way he runs at defenders, great little player that we can develop back to his very best!..................<ok>

Just watch us ship out the undesirables this summer Norway! Though I grant you that any bid over £25 Million is going to be very difficult for Huw to ignore......................<laugh>

agree Phil. I have no idea if there were ever any offers for Michu, if there were we should have accepted because there was no way in the world he was going to back up his goalscoring in his second season. now we are stuck with him

"now we are stuck with him" sounds very disingenuous , the lad's provided myself and many others some of the most exciting and pleasurable moments in a game of football for many a year .He's been / is injured and may not be able to play at this level again and "now we're stuck with him" ,poor comment there Musty imo We question why players don't show loyalty to a club ,well if Michu was to read comments such as yours then why ask the question .
