Adds to the flavour, Wetherspoon's been doing it for years. Always feel ****ter next day getting drunk in one of their pubs than another #toptoptoptoppubsandprices
Have you worked in the pub trade a long time then? Are you a busty barmaid like they have in the Rovers Return?
Good morning all, note for today the pub is an escape from all the footy banter lets keep it that way no wumming allowed.
I managed to avoid any personal injury. My mate who comes from round here (Welsh by birth and a ****ing citeh fan) had a stroke before Crimbo, so is still recovering. Brought on by way too much drinking. He had more than he should have done on the boat. When we got to Lymm, he got off at the bow, which is never advisable. He fell and one leg went in the canal. They got him back on the boat and he was literally grey. I thought he was going to have another stroke, but he had a lie down and a sleep and was alright when he woke up. One of the blokes my mate brought with him who lives in L4 had an air pistol with him and spent the whole trip shooting at ****ing ducklings, which I wasn't very impressed with. The other bloke, also L4 and a card-carrying Red for 35 years, was a really good bloke. It was all a bit much for me and I was in quite a lot of pain when we got back to Stockton Heath, but it was a change and I didn't spend a penny
I'm from L4- what are you trying to say? I had an air rifle as a kid and used to try and put windows through with it, but ducklings? That's just sick. I'd have had to walk to Wally Hall Park just to find one.
Just seen City's home record this season. 1 draw against Sunderland and 1 loss against Chelsea. That's it. So tbh even if we beat Palace it was a real tall order to expect City to slip, but I would have still liked us to have piled the pressure on them though and ran them to the very end
I dont know, Palace are a good team. Beat Chelsea at home, last home game of season, fans were rocking once they got 1 goal back, we are **** at defending! . Im not that suprised we drew tbh
