I hate the fact it has ended so bad for Ward, but he really does need to go. Just wish it didn't come down to a lot of gas giving him ****
he saved us last season and said he has unfinished business with us. well i think he has completed the business now. i dont think clarke needs a DoF and that is therefore wasting funds. thank you ward for saving us last season but this season have been awful from day 1 at exeter. a lot of mistakes made and poor decisions especially away from home. its the right time to go as its not fair to get all the abuse etc which he will get next season when his personal circumstances is how it is. his mind cannot be 100% on his job.
Looks like Clarke staying (at bottom of article) got a bad feeling about this again http://www.bristolpost.co.uk/Bristol-Rovers-release-12-players-aftermath/story-21063836-detail/story.html
Maybe if we would of stayed up he might of had a clause in his contract where he could leave but if we went he would have to stay for the rest of his life with us that's why he was crying
The board say the need to make cuts, a director of football is one of them do we really need one ? Personally I don't think Clarke has the credentials at this level. Next season Rovers need to make far better use of the loan system in order to get them up, as for managers I really feel Chris Powell would be ideal manager he worked miracles at Charlton he got them promoted he might not be good enough at championship level but Rovers are not in the championship there in the conference.
