Who knows, only the lad knows that. Heard it mentioned at the match on Saturday that the deal was done. Don't know how true it is.

You honestly expect me to go back through every game since HBA has been here and tot up how many times he has cost us a goal? Yes boss <laugh> Are you seriously, hand on heart, suggesting the useless fecker does not cost us an alarming amount of goals relative to the number of games he plays?! If you've watched us (and you have), you know he does. You don't need a statitician. You have watched the same games I have. He is a complete liability. yeah he'll score you a worldy every 9 games or so (used to be 5, then 7 but he is now so fat its creeping up). When he does his trademark body swerve dropping the shoulder, his belly is still where he started its so big!

What has Tiote got to do with it? He also costs us goals (not as many as HBA except maybe last season). That is not really a sound basis to excuse HBA his dropping of regular bollocks though is it.

End of it all - forgetting the on pitch discussion - are you willing to accept a player being so unprofessional he turns up in that condition for Newcastle United. I'm not, I think he is a prize ****. This is not the 1970's where he might have been seen as a mercurial cheeky chappy. He's taking the piss out of the club, its not on.

Well apparently it's been done to death, so why would you need to do it yourself?

You misunderstand, the subject of HBA has been done to death. I was simply saying to Tash that rather than going over all the data available, I'd rather stick to my own eyes and state I think he is an underachieving ****stain who has zero respect for the club. Probably one of the few things Pardew has managed to call correctly of late. The clamour for us to play an overweight player is laughable. Is that our level now? Shola and overweight unprofessional twats? Great.

3 assists against Stoke dropped next game, set up winner against Palace, on the bench next game. Thinks he's been hard done by.

On the basis of 2 games? What about all the others where he has been a waste of space? What about his unprofessional attitude? It seems to me everyone is happy to overllok things with HBA that would not be acceptable if it was any other player. Once you start pandering to one player, you're on the road to ****sville.

Lets not forget either, prior to setting up that goal against Palace, he had been absolute turd and had the whole crowd recoiling in frustration as he ran down blind alley after blind alley. Great ball but the whole appearance justified his use as an impact sub. And he was dropped after Stoke in a purely tactical switch which very nearly came off. Lets not forget we played Arsenal next, not a team you want to giving the ball away in dangerous areas as HBA often does. A team of superior quality who were likely to have the majority of possession. Therefore you needed workrate. Not something HBA is familiar with.

There is undoubtedly games where Pardew could have risked him. Games where we knew teams were coming to frustrate. All said and done though, it is simply not excuseable to turn up for training in the state he is in. Nor is the "he's been Pardewed" or "he wouldn't be that size if Pardew treat him better" excuses acceptable for me. He is paid a massive wage to do his job. Part of that job requires some minimum standards, of which a reasonable level of fitness is one. I wanted HBA to work out, he has undoubted talent. Unfortunately at 27 it has become evident he is not willing to harness it, hence no club of any substance holds any sort of interest in him.

Not used to his strengths for me, I sit there watching them and still don't what certain players best position is. We should build the team around Ben Arfa. Cisse and Ameobi have been shocking this year and Gouffran has been abysmal since Boxing Day.

'Cos building a team on one player worked well when Cabaye left!

You need to build a style of play that you, as manager, utterly understand that is at least sympathetic to the squad you have, and go from there. None of this worry about the opposition sh1t. Our manager does not possess this trait. He's a small club manager who likes workers, tracking back, lines of four, etc.

So we should just waste our best player, good managers clearly have a plan B. That said Alan Pardew clearly doesn't as he doesn't know what to do with no Remy or Cabaye.

is not and has never been our best player.

he is our most talented player - - probably the most talented player we've had since Kluivert and, before him, Robert. All magicians. All, at the end of the day, second rate.

He was a tad lazy, but 8 league goals and 16 assists in his first season... I wish we had a left winger right now who was that second rate.

Oh, he wasn't second rate at first. They never are. They burn bright, steal your hearts and then decay: the footballing equivalent of the unbelievably beautiful, special girl of your dreams who two yeaars after you start dating gains 2 stone, spends all day watching Jeremy Kyle and dresses only in trackies.

As for our best player at the moment, Krul would be in with a shout as would Colo.

    True.

Krul and Colo are still up there as a couple of our best players, just think Colo has had a poor season by his standards and Krul has gone alarmingly backwards.

Debuchy has been our best player this season for me. He has missed a fair few games but he has been pretty consistent and also commited to the cause which is vital in any team game.
