Do you actually know how a business is run? Do you really believe every penny of income goes to Tan? I suggest you don't but post like yours above really do make you appear a bit thick.

Well if thickness is measured by not fully understanding the implications of having Tan the man as the owner of your club then I'd say you maybe correct but then again he's your problem not mine so I'll continue to exist in ignorant bliss ,how about you ?

That's not what this thread is about and it's a shame that "Brownie point scoring" has to creep into every thread on this bloody forum when jacks get involved.

Tan does not have the £59M parachute payments - they belong to the club and are protected by Premier league rules from being taken as a debt reduction tool.

There seems to be some confusion over this "£60M" and what Tan is worth personally. He IS worth a hell of a lot more than that (something like $1.4BN), whereas Huw Jenks has probably no more personal wealth than me and a lot less than someone like Borley who is an also ran in the football money game.

The club's debt to Tan is frighteningly high, but he chose to do it, nobody pushed him. It was (is?) his own vanity to own a successful club in the Premier League that drove him and he's struck out. The only question is, will he go for it again or write off a huge chunk of money.

To meet the FFP regulations some of the higher earners would need to go?

Possibly correct, but it would depend upon the total income stream generated by the club.

Not saying that the new 33,000 capacity available for next season will influence the income now that we've gone down. It's doubtful we'll fill the stadium like this past season. Still, the facility will be there, and if we're anywhere need the top during the season, I wouldn't be surprised to see 30,000+ attendances on a regular basis.

That's not the only potential income increase option of course, but at least it's one.

So how about listing the implications if you think we are not fully aware? Alternatively keep your opinions to yourself as posting opinions in ignorance is pretty does make you appear silly to those who are not living in ignorance. We don't know all the details about how our club is run but many of us do know how a business is run and how accounts are put together.

A pissing contest over who is the wealthier? Dear oh dear. Of course Tan is wealthy - D'oh! He is your owner and owns half of Malaysia including the lottery which most Malaysians believe quite rightly should have been put out to tender but it was given to him by his friends in government. This is a fact. No, Mr Tan is not liked that much in his home country either, but that's by the by.

Comparing Jenkins and Tan's wealth is completely irrelevant as Jenkins doesn't own us, as has already been pointed out. Comparing the two is apples and oranges and I'm surprised you fell for that.

But if you're into making comparisons what is far more relevant is the dire situation you're in financially as you rightly acknowledge and being at the mercy of a man who is unpredictable and has made some jawdropping decisions in the past. In short, you probably wouldn't put anything past him would you? Thought not.

Swansea City on the other hand is one of the top 50 wealthiest clubs in the World, a comparison that's far more relevant. :)

Dragonborn - what are you talking about if you're talking to me as I assume you are by quoting my post?

I've not fallen for anything. I just stated the well known fact in response to an earlier post by someone about Tan's personal wealth and Jenkin's lack of it. Talk about looking for trouble - get a grip pal and put down the gun.

You are becoming very argumentative over here which I suspect is a reaction to being repeatedly slapped down by Cardiff posters for your arrogant style.

oldsparkey. As my namsake has pointed out you are very argumentative. Why mention a "gun"? Who's holding a gun? <doh> I'm only pointing out that whoever is comparing Jenkins's wealth to Tan's is way off the mark for the reasons I've set out. The fact you contributed to that debate includes you. Apologies if that offends but it doesn't seem to take much to be honest.

Anyway of on me hollibobs now. You have a great week. <ok>

You still have an awful lot to learn pal. Phil knows me and I know him - you know nothing and don't even come close. <ok>

As far as generally comparing Tan's and Jenkin's wealth is concerned, when your post included a "reply with quote" of mine, it's fairly reasonable to assume you were referring to me or why else would you need to include it?

BTW, you don't offend me, you just annoy me like many others over here with your constant sanctimonious claptrap about our owner - savvy?

Have a good holiday and I will have a great week thank you. <ok>

In August 2012, Noone joined Cardiff City for an undisclosed fee, reported to be £1m, and signed a four-year contract.

You lot could not afford him now.

How much will you get for your Spanish imports ? talk of unrest in camp.
