Thanks TF. X What about poster most likely to get hit in the face by a flare while travelling to an away match in an upcoming Europa league tie next season while taking part in a choreo.
Just an observation but almost every person I've seen criticise Aluko lives abroad so has not seen him live or hasn't seen him much. I don't know how you can look at how we played on Saturday and say that we don't need that type of player that picks up the ball and drives it forward between lines, and how you could say that Aluko is not brilliant in that role when fit.
You forget that these people who haven't seen the games in person are watching live matches on TV, not streams, with replays. Possibly also with that same thing that Sky has where you can rewind in real time, or maybe just record the games & watch them back to analyse later!
Exactly, and watching on TV doesn't give you anywhere near the same idea of overall play as watching a game in the stadium. If you are sitting on the halfway line you see so much more than if you watch on TV. Also, most of Aluko's game time was last season where we were in the championship so it was difficult to get any sort of live broadcast or even extended highlights.
How can you see more sitting on the half way line at a game than on TV where there are numerous camera angles & replays at the time of any incidents? I believe they're talking about Aluko this season in the PL which is where he has to be evaluated.
On TV you mainly just see where the ball is, you don't see a lot of the movement off the ball, you obviously get more detail on any incidents, but not the game as a whole. I quite often record our televised games and when I get back and watch them, it often looks like a different game.
Most obsessive stalkers? I seem to have a few tbf. Seriously though, whilst you're all obviously quite welcome to blow smoke up each others arses or make childish digs at some posters, I've made my feelings on polls well known, and ones like this on a forum just seem either self indulgent or childish bullying, so please leave me out of it. Ta.
