If we end the season with a home win to secure second then it's been a great season, some investment, build the squad, plan for Champions League, improve our defence and then next season we go again
We go again! Any bets on another nail-biting 4-3 against the magpies? Great season. Winning the league would be amazing, finishing second would be great and finishing third would still be good! Played good football and got (mostly) good results. Bit of investment and few more players and we'll surprise a few more rival fans next season.

I'm pretty sure if we'd been playing a mixed breed team of eleven dogs last night they'd still have managed to put three past the disaster that we offered up. And the worst part, just to rub it in, would've been that our old team mate the chihuahua would score the equaliser. So I wouldn't write anything off.
your comment shows the problem clearly. we played palace and mingolet who cannot kick accurately from ground or hand was out side his box by ten yards playing there gerrard should have been in the first half.... chasing the game.. totally unnecessarily. some clown said should mingolet go forward for a corner when we were 3-3... madness.. chasing a game 3-0 up.. 3-1 up. 3-2 up. when does sense come into it. when does rodgers instruct the double pivot and full backs to sit? i'll tell you... never it seems. we should have passed them of the park but ended up hoofing it clear.
I would like 1) SUarez to beat premier league goal scoring record in 38 game season (so 1 more goal) 2) us to beat the highest goals scored in the prem (think we'd need 3) That would round off an epic season
