A genuine question,do you think the point yesterday gives you some hope,or just drag out your agony longer?
Yes it does give the faintest glimmer of hope, but as Sunderland now have two home games (West Brom and Swansea), there is a more than reasonable chance we will be down before midnight on Wednesday. The win was needed to drag West Brom back in to the equation, and that would have made life very interesting on Wednesday night, with both clubs needing a win. For me, the agony is long gone, our fate was all but sealed the day we lost at home to the Baggies.
Your dead right Hucks, & that's why JM was so pissed off in his interview afterwards. He'd expected Adams to throw the kitchen sink at him in the second half which would have been suicide & Hazzard would have murdered us big time ! I think Adams did the best job he could have.
Your life must be so seriously dull if this is the only thing you have to do on a BH . I feel sorry for you.
This might help to explain it CC
Shame on you Susan - surely you should be following The Gills ? ........... actually I don't blame you ( only if 'other' factors force you to be so far away from Norwich ) - I too live a 100 mile drive for a 'home' game - but wouldn't miss any ! For what it's worth I hope that the FA show some consistency and dock Sunderland the illegal point - but when have the FA been fair ?
I still think there could be a twist in the ineligible player case. I wouldnt want to stay up because of it but I just don't think we have heard the last of it. Sunderland know they were lucky with the punishment maybe because they reported themselves. It doesn't matter that the player in question was poor. Back in 2009, could you see cowling letting it go if lambert had been a dud for Norwich?
Its not the FA ffs its the premier league and their rules are different - its an automatic points dock if the FA rules are applied i.e. Football League non league etc. Premier league rules state that it is the decision of the PL whether to dock the points gained where the player was involved or not depending on the severity of the "offence"
Your welcome - just don't like to see a fellow supporter making an arse of himself especially as most of the Norwich supporters have been dignified about it
Nice one Treacle, staring relegation in the face and your still wumming every poster available...respect!!
Life is too short to lose ones sense of humour. Some people on here take themselves way too seriously.
only a shammer could conclude that , never mind mate you will join us next year and with your massive debts piling up as you carry on thinking you are a big club sure a Rangers type drop is awaiting you
We were playing for a draw in the same way Liverpool were!! oh so funny, poor scousers, still it's not over yet
We played against a Champions league semi final team and people expect us to out play them?, the resolve shown in that high pressure game at the Bridge was fantastic and i feel we are in safe hands under Adams. We don`t even have a bus away from home we get spanked every game so a 0 0 is amazing.
I'd would love to know what your reaction would have been has it been Hootun making those calls in a game that we NEEDED to win, same as a lot of the other folk praising Adams for the tactics on Sunday. Actually I'm pretty certain I know the reaction, and it would be quite different from this.
