I think he's a talented player, but he flatters to deceive far to often. He reminds me of a lesser talented version of Nani. On his day he's very good, but he's very inconsistent. I really wouldn't want us to sign him. He even struggles to get a starting place at Newcastle, so what makes you think he's good enough to play for us?
That's probably bcos Pardew is a dick lol. He's fallen out with the player. Ben Arfa has had a reputation for being a bit disruptive but once again I think that maybe down to problems at the club. There seems to be little or no discipline left at Newcastle. Hardly surprising when the manager is nutting players on the touchline
There on a bad run at the moment, but I think 9th in the table, is a fair position for Pardew to have them in. The Geordies will all obviously argue differently, but with a chairman who runs the club as a business(to make money) rather than as a hobby, what hope does Pardew have of succeeding? His best players are sold, and he is expected to replace them on a shoe string budget. Mike Ashley is just happy for them to remain in the PL each year, without pushing on, as he's sitting there raking in all the money they earn from remaining in the PL. He's a smart business man, but he shouldn't be doing it with a football club. Owners of football clubs, should not be trying to make money, as it's only going to wind the fans up, as it has with the Glazers here
I would like Theo Walcott, but doubt we could do a deal for him. I think we're really in need of a right winger, as Valencia has had it
Was in the PL team of the year in 09/10, and was our player of the year in 11/12. He was a class act a few years back, before his injury. Now though he needs to be moved on
I cant stand Valencia these days but he used to be ****ing great. When he ran at you it was like a tank doing 200MPH coming at you. In years to come, many players wont be worried about Sterling coming at them. Their first thought will be, is he my dad?
Valencia has lost a lot of his speed since his second injury, but in his one game under Giggs he got back to doing what he does best, low hard crosses into the box, not high balls that we just didn`t have the players to make use of.
He was the worst Man Utd player on the field against Norwich, I thought he had another stinker, particularly in the 1st half
Tuttosport reporting Juventus have already agreed terms with Manchester United and Nani for a summer move. They have agreed a â¬5m deal with Manchester United, plus performance-related bonuses. Shame, I think he's very talented and still offers much. His decision making can be questionable but it's a small negative compared with everything he offers going forward. We HAVE to buy a winger now. Just hope there's a player coming the other way - Marchisio or Vidal would be good, but doubt it'll happen.
I wonder if Van Gaal has been consulted? Nani has just signed a new contract and we should be asking much more than 5Mil for him if he leaves.
Nani is a hugely disappointing player and at this point it's pretty clear he'll never reach his potential. 5 millions not a lot (though you'd need to be mad to give us more than 10), but any sign that the club recognises our wingers (bar Januzaj) need replacing would be welcome from me.
He's being bought by Juventus after all, not Plymouth Argyle. The lad IS quality. Injuries and being the scapegoat for manager and fans hasn't helped. Watch him for Portugal in the summer and it will show how badly we use him.
