Thats how a teams last home game should be played , nothing on it just personal pride and a desire to win . Highly unlikely I know but I wonder if some of our players are watching this and feeling a tad embarrassed
Rodgers basically said it was time to blitzkrieg the last two games, it looked like happening but wow... Talk about throwing it away at the end!!!
only a chance at the title like but if you think they have nothing to play for then thats your choice
Their achilles heel all season , shipping to many goals against even mediocre teams .Too late now , it looks like they've blown their chance this season for the title . Hope you're not too upset Dai ,never mind I'm sure you'll be on the blower to Brendan to offer a shoulder to cry on
The first priority was to win the game. He should have closed it down. I suspect he'll get some flak.....
Brendan made a huge error of judgment there when they were cruising to a win and putting the pressure firmly back on man city....why the subs so late in the game, Oh well its man city's to lose for certain now and all liverpool can do is Hope they slip up.....
Why bring on Moses why not a defender or defensive midfielder? Pulis' substitutions completely altered the course of the game and possibly the title.
What a disaster .... snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. So much better to bank the three points and make City win mid-week to stay alive. By the 79th minute they had done so well and had at least decreased the goal difference to -6. They could have then gone for it at home against a shambolic Newcastle team on Saturday, which if it was going to happen for them scoring a ton at home against Newcastle would have been the safer bet. Now City have some margin for error against Villa and then WHU. City takes it from here!
Great match to watch but to throw a 3 goal lead away with less than 15 minutes to go is criminal. Liverpool have missed a great chance to win the title this year, can't see them getting anywhere near it next year. Well done to Palace what a great attitude.
