Poyet will have to win the last 2 games to have a decent chance imo. Discounting the first 8 games (including Swansea) and if we win the next 2, Poyet's record of 'form' over 30 games would amass 51 points and we were League Cup finalist, FA Cup quarter finalists however he was also in charge during some fairly dismal displays and lacklustre team efforts.

He will be a living legend on Wearside for sure and the tributes and adulations to the Whole team will be well deserved. Furthermore, I believe Ellis 'manager-roulette' Short has finally struck his winning number.
