I think Rodwell would be an amazing signing. Livermore permanent and Rodwell on loan, the English trio in midfield would really improve us.
Absolutely, Rodwell or Sidwell (yes I keep banging that drum) with Livermore either side of him, would encourage Thudd to play further up the park where's he's more dangerous.

He's already said he wants a CL side, so if he goes it'll be more than we could possibly afford. I'd say around £20 million!

Allowing Livermore or something as well instead of Rodwell and maybe another CB for Chester would really improve our team. And As much as I like Elmo somebody who can run the line would be great
You can all rest assured that Mr Allam, Steve Bruce and his staff and the "Bean-Counters" will be already looking at the bottom line for next season. Some of the players mentioned will be way over our budget. The fact that we got into Europe could well be that 'edge' we need to persuade some up-and-coming prospects to look in our direction. Loan-in players will be very important to us enabling 'quality' players to come into the side and I would imagine (after the Danny Graham debacle) that we will be far more selective. We are carrying some 'passengers' but I am not getting into a bun-fight by mentioning who I think they are but Koren, Sagbo and Fryatt, unless they have exceptional games in the final, will have to be off loaded (imo).
£20 million is mad! Still perhaps out of our league but hardly looked dangerous against us when he came to the KC in April.
Re Bony, it's about the players around him. He's better than Giroud and if he can score 22 this season, then Bony would be 20+ for sure. He's exactly what the Arse need.
Exactly, this could be key to us getting players like Rodwell and Hazard from Chelsea. Players can go out on loan in the premiership whilst also getting a little taster of Europe.
I thought he looked excellent against us, he was £12m when Swansea bought him and he's since proved himself in the Premier League, he's going to be way too much for us.
