I've got a mate going to the big Lowestoft vs Concord Rangers game. Makes St Albans look small time (or maybe big time, I don't know which game is bigger).

Is that a cup game? I swear those teams aren't in the same division.

Playoff final I think. Turns out it's AFC Hornchurch, don't know why I thought it was Concord.

Yeah, Concord are mid-table in the Conference South.

Isthmian Prem playoff final eh? This is a massive day for football.

So tempted to post match threads for these games on /r/soccer and see how they react.

Don't like Concord, they did the double over Farnborough.

Do I get the impression that non-league football doesn't register on their radar?

Seeing as I saw their women's team this season, I'm gonna have to support Chesham.

Boooooo, down with Chesham (because I've never heard of it). St Albans til I die! Or until this evening, whatever.

It's been a hell of a ride for the mighty Snorbans: the administration, the poor start, the unanticipated FA Cup run, the following 8-1 home defeat to Mansfield which the whole town seems to be proud of for some reason, the signing of the magnificent John Frendo on his crazy £400 p/w salary who has helped the team surge into the playoffs.

I first saw this team play in a pre-season friendly against Ruud Gullit's Chelsea. They lost 2-1. The stadium didn't have seats then; it was concrete steps. I couldn't get a hot dog at half time because the queue was too long. Oh how things have changed for The Other Mighty Saints.

£400 per week to play part time football? Dude's living the good life. Suppose he deserves it for this stunning effort.

By the way Dan, I now have a game in my Steam library. It's called Epigenesis and I have no idea what it is.

It's still telling me I need games in my Steam account. Epigenesis was some sort of a limited time thing, so maybe that's why.

Great! Maybe if you have an old FM lying around, just stick that in and set it up.

I don't think I do. Downloading TrackMania now. If that doesn't work, I'll buy a cheap game.

Just looking through the market now... there's a pack called Trine Complete which has the two Trine games for £1.79. I've never played but I've heard good things, and it's only £1.79.
