We've had our differences this season EC, but we really are on the same side when it comes to our football. We have a really great though somewhat flawed manager, the makings of a great squad, some outstanding young talent and some fading but influential old hands. We have a responsive and generous owner and best of all, it looks like we have some longer term planning and stability to look forward to. I'm not disappointed at our season, we maybe overachieved in the CL and underachieved in the PL against lesser teams, but so what?? For a work in progress year, bloody well done, can't wait to see the shenanigans in the off season and what the cards deal for the next one.
Big Sam and Jose play the same style of football, Jose just does it with better players. There philosophy's though, are almost identical
Nice one CP. Been a superb season. Was hoping for 80+ points, a decent title challenge and QF of CL. We've taken our title challenge to the penultimate gams of the season without a striker and half a season without a quality CM. Atlletico was a game too far for us without lamps etc suspended, Matic unavailable, Terry and hazard half fit. With hindsight Jose should have maybe chucked the loverpool match and focused the squad on Atletico. Scurrle should have played not Hazard Really optimistic about next season. Hoping for 90 points And more goals. Think we need to improve our free kicks for next season: Luiz has wasted far too many crucial ones recently Will not believe we finally have a decent striker until he signs and scores regularly KTBFFH
Yea, we play crap football right now. There's no real excuse for a team that has all the talent that Chelsea has to be playing the same way.
Mourinho is just about as successful as they come. He's earned the right to play whichever way he wants.

I said weeks ago we've had a great season. I don't get this no trophy is a failed season thing at all. Top half of the table is enough for me (although not the owner or rest of the club).
