I just based my view on the fact he quite clearly states its a Uni course, which if it was LT would know all about, including the course work and Tutor. This seems to be ignored by this troll.

I agree with him being special.

If it's a course, he'll fail worse than this wum has. His lecturer will soon find the source of the lions head he's trying to pass as his own design.

These have already nicked it anyway.

i went to the trouble of finding the image on google , searched tiger and lion but drew a blank , there is a design of a lion in a similar style -
but for a wind up they have gone to a lot of trouble to even make a design that looks a bit credible.

It's absolutely no trouble. I just right clicked and 'search google for this image" it took about three seconds once I could be arsed to look.

This unique design has numerous features that one seeks in a modern football badge. Defying classical convention with a mere cursory nod to the past, I initially concentrated my efforts on the shape of the shield. After several months of angst-ridden effort, a eureka moment ensued. The distinctly heart-shaped appearance not only conjures up a fun fuzzy family oriented theme but concomitantly removes any sharp edges - a forward thinking health and safety initiative for the numerous metallic pin badges that will be in such great demand. The logo honestly deserves three months of your undivided attention - no doubt you wish to hear the iterative journey that started with combining innumerable rococo fonts and an extensive palate of exotic colours before finally settling upon the simple bold lines in sombre black - an appropriate homage to the East Yorkshire no-nonsense psyche toward life, death, and football. The emblem is a visual delight, combining a friendly modern tiger motif with the body of a fish - I am particularly proud of this ingenious hybrid creature that encapsulates a love of football with a maritime theme embodying the past, present and future of this great city. Orders are now been taken via Paypal and all major Credit Cards. Prices start at an unbelievable £5 for a themed mug while a replica plastic FA cup version with embossed fake gold etching of the crest costing £200 ( a trifle considering the joy that this unique legacy will bring to posterity on The Antiques Road Show 2114 ).

Anyone else think that we are all part of a psychology experiment? - have we all taken the bait? Maybe this request for advice/guidance on crest design is merely a front for the real research which is assessing our reaction to mediocrity among the artless privileged.

After swapping a couple of PM's, I am pretty certain that the lad is not a wum. He's at Huddersfield University and is an MUFC fan! Can't say anymore as this would be betraying a PM. However, I was curious at the lack of flexibility on the project, given that we (pro and anti) pretty much knew that the name change wasn't likely to happen at least next season anyway. I do find it odd that some element of shift in the project proposal wasn't allowed, and to be fair the work was set fairly early (back in February I believe). Whatever one thinks of his work, and it would be professionally inappropriate for me to comment on here (good or ill), I actually think it is his tutor that is having the wind-up!

I should have asked where his tutor was from... my bet is Leeds or Sunderland!

I PM'd him on the original request to see what some of his designs were like and to offer some advice/ assistance, but he never replied so I just guessed he was a WUM. I was offering this as I had to do something similar towards my honours degree.

I'd actually be happier if he WAS a WUM, but as it looks like he isn't, I'll just have to be sad that some tutor is giving out awful projects like this, and that the standard of work is just so low and obviously not showing any design flair whatsoever.

Cheers for the clear up LT.

I graduated from University of Huddersfield doing a marketing degree this time last year - I'm 99% sure that he won't be on one of those courses as it didn't include such a hefty design element to them. Also, the major piece of work on those courses is a full blown dissertation, and the title remains flexible virtually right up until hand in.
