Alienating and selling Mata cost you the title. No wonder hazard is pissed off, Jose flogging footballers like Mata, one of the best PL players the previous season, and buying players that can run a lot about and kick people and chase hoof balls up the pitch. Ah sure another 200m in the summer and ye'll be fine
For the first time ever, I have to agree with Sisu. Mourinho is just turning Chelsea into a team of hard working water carriers, and neglecting the genuine quality in his side. He's sold Mata, and he's forcing Hazard to track players back into his own box, so he's to tired to really hurt the opposition when attacking. The guy isn't even good at tracking players back, it's not his game. So he is now becoming disillusioned with it all and is angling for a move to PSG, which I can see him getting. Chelsea will then be left with a group of technically average midfielders, like Willian, Schurrle, and the most overrated player in the PL Oscar. Fair enough you need 1 or 2 of them that'll run around, but you also need a genuine maestro like a Mata, to unlock opponents defences. People blame the strikers at Chelsea, but most of there problems this season have been down to a lack of creativity in midfield, it's not like Chelsea's forwards have been missing lots of chances, it's just they rarely get any, like Demba Ba today in the 0-0 with Norwich, I don't recall him getting one decent opportunity
And us and City would have had different results during the last those months even though Rooney would have had no baring on them? Gtf matth you're just bitter because your favourite club only got a draw against Norwich.
They should have saved themselves the trouble and bought wazza, they'd have wrapped it up two months ago.
The club should have got Matic earlier too. With a decent striker we'll be much stronger next season. And if Liverpool get past the group stage with a late goal v Olympiakos, they'll struggle next season. So it should be a three-way battle v City and part-time United
You all think Diego Costa will be the answer, but I think your in for a big suprise when he arrives. He's good with his head, and he scores goals with either foot, I don't think there's a striker in Europe that scores more goals with there so called weaker foot, but he's not a striker who makes chances out of nothing. With the lack of creativity in Chelsea's midfield you need an Aguero type striker, a player that can create his own openings, with a quick change of direction. Diego Costa isn't that type of striker, he's more of a poacher, so your midfield is going to need to supply him with the chances to score. I'm not knocking Diego Costa, as I rate him very highly, he's just not the player you guys need. Arsenal are rumoured to be after him too, and I think he'd be a lot better suited to them, as there midfield is far more creative
