Very true, but it's exactly the same as saying you were better than those three. It's a half full-half empty comment.
Not in Europe at all, thank Christ, you've seen the state of us. Not ready is an understatement, we've got so much work to do just to stand a chance of avoiding relegation again. We've got 13 first team squad players leaving the club this summer you know?
I did rate him before he came here, but I didn't think he'd do anywhere near this well. Last season I thought he could maybe guide us to 6th spot. So he got us automatically promoted. This season I thought we could just about scrape survival. So he kept us up with 2 games to spare, got us to an FA Cup final and got us Europa League football. Wow typing that last sentence felt good.
So the "runners up" rule is only for the FA Cup? I thought with Man City finishing top (or 2nd) in the league it might mean Sunderland were in Europe as finalists in the Capital One Cup. One of these days I'll understand how the Europa League works!
Christ. Though, looking at how your team has played at times, some of those leaving is probably a good thing
Seen a bit of them this season and an old mate plays, so I'm over the moon for the way they're shaping; that Marwood lad's not bad! Don't tell anyone, but I think SB is pinching himself annall!
It opened up an extra league place It is a good thing, well, the out of contract players. The loan player returning to their clubs will leave a massive hole. Hoping a Major League team come in for him, saying that, when he came on against United he was faultless, like he's been many times this season. He just can't score for **** and that's no good to us or anyone.
