Claridge picked derby too, hasn't Wigan's form been pretty bad, lost something like four of the last six?
Full marks for artistic interpretation Flymo ... if reality is somewhat different ... our penalty officially timed at 75 mins - Bolton went 2-0 up at home to Birmingam at almost exactly the same time ... meaning Birmingham would be relegated whatever the result at out place? ... so are you now accusing Mahrez and the Bolton players of collusion and perhaps match fixing? ... you should report your conspiracy theory to the authorities ... assuming you are allowed out ... priceless...
I am no mathematician but how many games have been won or lost against the odds? It's just two semis and a final. Anything could happen - I hope.
The team that has gone up as champions in the last 3 years have performed the worse in the premiership of the three teams that get promoted. So be warned before you gloat.
There is a big difference between taking satisfaction in a job well done and gloating ... similar to that between being magnanimous in defeat and sore losers ... My on view is unashamedly plagiarised: " If you can dream - and not make dreams your master; If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim; If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same;"
Four teams left actually is odds of 3-1, the other prices adjust to favouritism plus the bookie's profit. I think it really is too close to call...
A replacement for Norwich? ... that's it? ... I guess it nicely sums you up as a person and also gives a telling insight into the height of your footballing ambition ... pitiful.
Suspect you may find examples of me posting about our success on your board (or any other) as rare as your ability to interact on a public forum with any class ... TTFN
There is nothing quite like a bi-partisan approach to a general debate........................love it! As I mentioned on another thread, I'm staying positive for two reasons. 1 - If return to the PL, it is the place we strive for and where everyone wants to be, however ........... 2 - If we don't make it up, in truth, that could well be a blessing in disguise. All the wannabe's will take off, can't see the manager or coaching staff staying so we'll have a big clean out and rebuild the right way. This way, when we are fit to challenge again and make it to the PL, hopefully, the club as a whole will be in the right frame of mind to make a go at it, rather than buying in another team of mercenaries. Just my two bobs worth.
Derby are favourites because Wigan and QPR are playing each other. The winner of our tie will be the favourite to go up.
It's said every year that the Championship will be the toughest ever. The truth is that it's always tough, the team that comes out on top is the one that can show some consistency as we did under Warnock, and Leicester have done this time round. You don't have to have a team of world beaters but you do have to have a team Burnley are living proof of that
The odds are never what they are in real life, hence 2 totally even teams will both be odds on to go through in a cup game. Which is why the bookies always win. Youre right about it being 3-1 which shows i never bet.
