Agreed! It's not fair that a ****ty little, insignificant team, such as Norwich should go to Stamford Bridge with a game plan to restrict his team from waltzing to a comfortable win. I am ashamed of my team for this underhand tactic, one that had we employed more often, would have seen us safe from relegation this season.

I am pretty sure the game plan was exactly the same, but a combination of 'playing for the foul', and a slight shirt pull, we gave the scum the advantage. It was then for City to try and chase the game, and left holes all over the pitch, playing straight in to their hands. Had Chelsea scored today, the very same thing would have happened, of that I am certain.

The Hughton thing I dare not comment on too much as I think he should have gone 5 months ago.

What is good for the goose is not good for José Mouriho's gander. His games finally backfired on him.Out of champion league final, also out of premiership title race.

Said it in a thread few days ago that Chelsea have lost this Premiership like we did in 09. They have the bet record against the top 6 and are unbeaten. All they had to do was not drop points at home to Norwich/Sunderland/West Ham and lose silly point against Villa/Palace/WBA and they would have walked this league. Those are games you'd expect them to win (especially the home games) and as such this league should have been wrapped up by them a long time ago.

Instead, Mourinho has proved he can't set up a side to go out and play football and break down those stubborn defences. Perfectly good to sit back and counter himself (as proven by his record against the top clubs) but even with 5 attacking midfielders in the squad, they lack the creativity to break them down.

However, he won't get any stick for it and will claim that his side have guaranteed CL football and made a CL semi and his lil horse Chelsea have overachieved against those big mean clubs like Liverpool who have spent the last 10 years spending millions upon millions to build a squad of Internationals all on over 100k a week.... oh wait?

How can Jose possibly be expected to play the beautiful attacking football his heart yearns for when Abramovich only let him spend £110m this season?

    Poor Jose.

Sure he had Ronaldo and co and did you see the game he had Real playing<yikes> They were ****ing awful. v United in the CL they were muck. No wonder Real fans hated the ****.

When he called himself the Special one, maybe we misunderstood, maybe he meant remedial

But he won the league therefore he is a genius and chelseas nonperformance this season can in no way be attributed to Jose's tactics because he is a tactical genius.

:emoticon-0159-music The wheels of the bus don't go around, go around, go around,

The wheels of the bus don't go around, 'cause Jose's just parked it in the goal box. :emoticon-0159-music

    Good on you Norwich. :emoticon-0137-clapp

I hate the Portuguese ****, he's not inspirational, he's not funny, he brings nothing "special" to the English game.

He's slated many people this season including Rafa to deflect his own frailties, and his precious vanity is more important to him than his club as proved by selling Mata to the mancs, Mata would have been the difference in games they've lost and drawn since January.

It's very pedantic but there were 3 kings in the 19th century before Victoria cam to the throne (2 Georges and 1 Wlliam) so you can't claim it was Victorian football.

But there was no Football Association until the Victorian era.
(This could get a real pedants' argument going......:))

I'll see your pedantry and raise you another. The quotation makes no reference to the Football Association. However football existed before the FA was formed. <laugh>
