Or spend big on 3 year contracts have 2 seasons then get walloped by FFP or lose the players who got you there, ala Crawley making drastic cuts.

We're going to spend bigger than all other Conference clubs anyway, our gates will be between 2 and 6 times larger than any other club.

Allegedly, we had one of the biggest budgets in L2 this season and look where that got us.

We need to spend wisely and have people who know what they're doing in charge, on and off the pitch.

crawley dont have the fan base for it. if they were getting 8k plus each home game then that would make the difference <ok>

That is an awful situation....to find yourself in the bottom two after game 46 when you can't do anything to reverse it.

Having dropped from the Championship and suffered administration and diced with non-league football ourselves.....I would find it difficult to cope with what you have to at the moment....I am genuinely sorry that you have been relegated.....it must be unbearable to bump into gloating City fans at present for you.

Having lost Rovers and Torquay from the league for next season....our mileage will increase yet again....but that fades into insignificance compared with your situation....you'll be back soon hopefully.

Will this affect your new ground plans ?

apparently not. our chairman says on the pitch matters and off the pitch matters have no effect on each other!
